Funding & other support for the Biology Project

The Biology Project was initially developed with a 2-year grant from the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. Michael Gottfredson and Tom Bourgeois from UA's Office of Undergraduate Education were instrumental in applying for and receiving this grant. Additional support was provided by:

• Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics. Tom Baldwin, Head.
• Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology. Gail Burd, Head
• Howard Hughes Medical Institute Grant for Undergraduate Biology Education at the University of Arizona. Mike Wells, Principal Investigator.
