Problem 4: Predicting gametes of an SsYy plant.

Tutorial to help answer the question

The gametes of a plant of genotype SsYy should have what genotypes?
Tutorial

Assortment of alleles

The gametes will receive one of each pair (Ss and Yy) of alleles. All combinations of alleles will occur with equal probability (SY, Sy, sY, and sy) because alleles of different genes are assorted independently during gamete formation (meiosis.)

Each gamete has one seed shape (S=spherical or s=dented) and one color (Y=yellow or y=green) allele.
