Animal Development for Teachers

What are the mechanisms of embryonic development between different groups of animals? How do the mechanisms of development in different animal groups related to the basic biological mechanisms taught in cell and molecular biology and genetics? How can you incorporate information on animal development into your secondary curriculum, using your state science education standards as an entry point? These objectives and more will be explored in this 3-unit course. TTh, 12:45-5 pm (3 units of credit). Instructor: TBA
