Biomedical Research for Arizona Teachers

Biology Update 2 (BIOC 623d) (Summer 2008)This course will focus on recent advances in the understanding of basic biology and on new discoveries and applications in genetics, ecology, and evolution. May include 2-3 required day or weekend fieldtrips. May be taken before BIOC 623c. TTh 7:30-11:45 am, Biosciences West 257 (3 units of credit). In-service middle/high school teachers will receive a modest scholarship (~$250) towards the cost of the course. Instructor: Alona Bachi, Ph.D.
